Anthem Coffee & Tea - Downtown Puyallup in Puyallup

Anthem was great, surprised that they had a few micro brews on tap. Great atmosphere and a good coffee.

I come in here pretty much every day before work and the people there were very quick to start recognizing me. They are all happy fun people. They make great coffee and food. Rachel is absolutely amazing! I love this place compared to starbucks or an espresso window

It pains to leave a bad review because I used to love this place. And the drinks are still great BUT ...the customers here are waiting in line INCHES apart and more than half not wearing masks. Management has failed to do anything to address this. Social distancing is imperative right now, and it's not happening at Anthem.

Anthem serves great NAAN Pizzas (essentially pita bread style pizza), breakfast options (served all day), coffee, tea, beer, and wine by the glass. They have a lovely fireplace with a surrounding bar. There are plenty of tables and seating available with charging ports for electronic devices. There are seats at the bar and tables and free-standing bars throughout. Excellent food, atmosphere, and beverages.....and the customer service is top notch. I'd definitely recommend. The BBQ Chicken NAAN Pizza is awesome!!! They also serve a Nutella Espresso Coffee that my daughter said tastes unbelievably great! You won't regret it!

Excellent pizza and cappacino with smiling friendly service. Atmosphere is very relaxing, you think every customer knows all the other customers.

Because most of my meetings and coffee breaks are at Pt Ruston I always go to the Anthem on the waterfront. It's because I trust Anthem to have the best customer service and products that I will go out of my way to meet clients and friends at the nearest Anthem location.Puyallup Anthem will not disappoint.

It's a nice space with plenty of seating. The coffee was not great and the pastries just average. Staff were quick and efficient, but not overly friendly.

Coffee and items area high.The service is slow. Due to the fact of it’s location, next to the library and other businesses, and the high volume of patrons, it would benefit all if they increased their staff in providing a faster turnaround for items purchased.I recommend some dairy free items for snacks, too...there are some amazing options out there!

Very convenient! Great coffee, frapacuinos and other drinks. Also employees are just nice smiley faces! Great environment. It's also a good place to get some work done, it has a free public printer. Great for college students in need of a good place for studying!

This is the only sit down coffee place you'll find in Puyallup aside from the Starbucks on the hill. They have lots of different seating options ranging from leather chairs to stools. It's a good place to hang out with friends, but too loud to study in. They also serve beer and wine. The prices are higher than an average coffee shop, but it's the only option in downtown

I'm torn...i like the ambience of this place, but the quality of the drinks just isn't there...my goto is a 16oz sugar-free caramel machiatto with an extra shot...as hot as possible...and each time the drink is tepid and quite possibly decaf...and i paid for it!...so while it's better than a franchise that rhymes with far-trucks, it's only by a slim margin.

Came here for the first time and got a white chocolate mocha. Super good! Workers were all super nice as well! Definitely will come again.

Yummy espresso beverages! My husband and I both enjoyed the flavor immensely. I had a small dirty chai and he had a small vanilla latte (which he let me taste). Both drinks were smooth and rich.Really awesome friendly service at this place. Unfortunately, it took over 15 minutes to get my drink order. It probably wouldn't have been an issue because we weren't in a hurry, but it was just so awkward. My hubby holding our table in the back of the store while I stood up front in everyone's way waiting. I could have sat at the bar, but I honestly never expected to be there that long.The place itself is super clean and well appointed with a variety of seating for various needs. Family, group, date, working, quick bite, it's all going on. The atmosphere is trendy, kind of hipster, or my understanding of the aesthetic. I didn't try the food, but it looked and smelled delicious! Very appetizing, even the prepackaged stuff.

Love what this place has turned into. I remember back when it was originally Forza coffee and since the lease has changed, the same team has turned this into a nice little franchise serving good food, alcohol and of course the coffee you've grown to love. Easy stop for a fast bite and a great place to study or spend time with friends.

This place was great. Passing through on our way to Seattle we stopped here. We shared delicious scones and muffins that were top notch. We shared a house coffee and a mocha latte that were equally good. Very clean and imaginative interior. Very friendly staff. We will stop in again on our way home.

I was on my way to the Puyallup Fair and stopped by for a coffee. Very nice place and great coffee (I remember having the Black and White with hemp). Staff was also very nice and there was a lot of people enjoying the atmosphere. I recommend thelis shop

First visit here. Probably gonna bring my wife to come check it out. Loved the vibe and location next to Pioneer Park was nice. Coffee is good. Was surprised by the beer on tap and wine options. 24 oz coffee I ordered with an extra shot was very good.

Anthem has the best coffee! I get an almond milk latte and it is seriously delicious! It is centrally located to the downtown area and they have a wonderful staff. The staff genuinely cares about their customers and I've seen them go above and beyond. Definitely recommend Anthem all day long!

I expected a lot more. It's just a simple coffee place. Much smaller than it looks on the pictures.

An eclectic place. Get wacky coffee - based ice cream concoctions or eat dinner with a beer. Or both! Lovely view of Pioneer Park and open on Sundays. Oh, the drip coffee was good, too!

Anthem is a great shop. It's very modern and it looks great. Also they decorate seasonally. They coffee is higher end as well. Great vibe and better than average coffee. Would deffintly come here again and would recommend it to friends and anyone looking for a coffee shop in Puyallup.

Really hip and chill vibe. Good coffee, and they offer food, wine and beer to have with friends or by yourself. Lots to do in the area, if you wanted to grab your coffee and walk downtown

Friendly staff coffee is good, breakfast sandwich kinda pricey for what is served. $9.34 for a 20 ounce plain black coffee and small tiny sandwich. Atmosphere is social and open.

Local coffee shop with a great community vibe

It's pretty cozy for the large space. Larger than most Starbucks. Free open wifi. Great Cabernet! They should however incorporate a cheese platter onto their small menu! I would come here again if they did.

Wow, that was amazing. I just went to the NEW Anthem Coffee in sunrise village and I have to say. I AM VERY IMPRESSED. The past coffee shop was not the greatest with their customer service but I am glad to see that Anthem stepped in and took over this location. Wonderful customer service and greeting others with a smile. I am glad I started my day at my new coffee shop. GREAT WORK!

The flavors, service and general ambiance was amazing! Very friendly staff. It was very relaxing even while it was busy. I can't wait for my next Washington trip to visit this shop again!

It's a cool little place for what it is. It can get a little loud and they could easily improve on the atmosphere and make it a bit more cozy by switching out the steel stools that look more like they belong at a shop bench in a garage as opposed to coffee shop. I'm always hoping for a coffee shop that'll do something to make you feel more cozy and homey. But the staff is very friendly and the drink menu is well priced. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go there or make it a meeting place if you want to catch up and visit with friends. But if you just want to pop in and grab a good drink at somewhere other than the giant conglomerate coffee shops, this would be a good place for that.

Pretty sweet spot. I feel like I’m in starbucks everytime I come here lol. The interior design is really nice, I love the fire place that they have inside. Not sure if its fake or real but I really like it. I havent tried any of their other drinks but Im sure theyre delicious. The location is perfect cause it is by pioneer park, bank of america, the usps etc. stop by here to chill.
